Dr. Richard Goldberg is a Teaching Associate Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the department of applied physical sciences. He received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University. Dr. Goldberg has brought tremendous teaching experience and background in undergraduate curriculum design to the department and leads our KEEN initiative at UNC. He is also leading efforts to build the undergraduate program in applied sciences and engineering.
Dr. Megan Morin is the KEEN Program Coordinator in the department of applied physical sciences. She received her Ph.D. in Learning and Teaching in STEM focusing on Engineering and Technology Education at North Carolina State University. Her prior work and research are in faculty development, assessment, teaching pedagogies, K-20 outreach, STEM workforce development, and undergraduate research experiences. Megan was also former middle school math and science teacher in the Wake County Public School System.
