Coaches’ Corner is an amazing opportunity to offer one-off virtual coaching sessions to your students with alumni entrepreneurs that can lead to long-term mentoring. Coaches’ Corner is open to all students and the application deadline is open and rolling!
Carolina Adapts Toys for CHildren (CATCH)

CATCH modifies pre-existing circuitry within electronic toys to provide adapted toys to children with disabilities. The modified toys are produced by Carolina students with the knowledge and abilities to make a difference are donated to hospitals to enrich the lives of children with disabilities.
Girls Engineering Change

Girl Engineering change seeks to close the 7:1 male to female gender gap in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math fields through the construction of engineered products and a network of college mentors who help them throughout their education to increase their confidence.
Helping Hand Project

The Helping Hand Project supports the limb difference community and educates the individuals that wish to impact it. 3D printing is used to provide free recreational prosthetic devices which are designed with children in mind.
MakNet Student Group

MakNet is Carolina’s Student Organization that is built around making and designing new projects, ideas, and communities.
National Society of Black Engineers

The National Society of Black Engineers is a membership organization that supports black engineers.
Society of Women Engineers

The Society of Women Engineers is the largest advocacy group in the world for women engineers. For more than six decades, SWE has given women engineers a unique place and voice within the engineering industry. SWE continues to evolve with the challenges and opportunities reflected in today's exciting engineering and technology specialties.
UNC Engineering World Health

The UNC chapter of Engineering World Health works on sub-projects available to via the professional chapter of EWH, including putting together circuits for ECG machines, making videos to send abroad to teach poor communities how to troubleshoot and problem solve with medical equipment, and going to schools and teaching kids about the types of projects engineers work on.
Carolina Science Olympiad

Thousands of students across North Carolina participate in Science Olympiad each year, and there are perhaps hundreds of students on this campus who have a place for Science Olympiad in their hearts. This organization serves as the center of Science Olympiad at UNC. Students at Carolina are able to volunteer at Science Olympiad competitions across North Carolina and can eventually help host an invitational tournament here at UNC. This organization exists as a way of facilitating student involvement in STEM outreach at the regional, state, and national levels through Science Olympiad.
