Maggie Daly Wins Research Symposium Poster Presentation
On October 8th, 2020, the Department of Applied Physical Sciences celebrated research progress and achievements with our annual Research Symposium. This event was also an Open House for prospective students to gain a better understanding of our PhD program in Materials Science. Each graduate student and post doc had three minutes to present their latest research and were entered into competition for best presentation, decided by a vote of the participants. The winner of this year was Maggie Daly, from Freeman Lab. Her engaging and illuminating presentation: “Shape-shifting Supramolecular Biomaterials,”rose to the top of the group of 14, all of which represented cutting-edge research in Materials Science.
Congratulations to Maggie!
