Be A Maker! BeAM Makerspaces at Carolina

BeAM@CAROLINA is a network of makerspaces where the UNC community can come together in the design and making of physical objects for education, research, entrepreneurship and recreation. We offer open studios, training workshops, host classes and group activities in spaces equipped with emerging technologies like 3D printing as well as wood and metalworking shops.

Learn

BeAM offers workshops and on-site support in 3D printing, laser cutting and electronics as well as woodworking and metalworking. For faculty, we support the integration of making into the classroom.

Research

Whether you are a student, staff member or faculty building instruments or artwork for your scholarly activities, or an entrepreneur prototyping a concept, at BeAM you can make your ideas real.
